Jamnipali (Darri) was made a parish in 1980. Parish church and presbytery are built by the Pallottines. It has been developed by the Pallottine Fathers as Korba deanery was entrusted to them for pastoral and missionary activities. Now the priests of the Archdiocese are providing pastoral care and other services to the people of God. The parishioners are mainly of Oraon tribe who are employed in various power plants and factories.
